"When I first bought this product I LOVED the smell plus the fact it was Sulfate, Parabens, alcohol and gluten free. Recently they changed the formula. It DOESNT smell the same and its NOT free of Sulfates, Parabens, Alcohol nor Gluten. Disappointed!"

"Had a Sally's employee recommend this as an add on when I was trying to take advantage of a sale about a year ago and the it's become a staple for me. I don't even use regular conditioner anymore. It's light enough that I can just use this as my conditioner and you don't have to leave it in long for it to work, although I do leave it in my hair a little while for good measure (I only wash my hair every 2-3 days as is). My hair is bleached and damaged and I have a detangling spray (technically a "hair primer") that I use to need to use to be able to brush through my hair at all. I don't even need to use the spray at all anymore because this mask works so well that I can brush through it easily without any extra steps. I highly recommend it. My only confusion is the 2 different shaped containers of it that both hold 12 oz but the girls at Sally's said they are 2 different products even though they have the same name. I checked the ingredients and they are identical apart from the one in the triangular container is missing hydroxyethylcellulose which the one in the round container has. ...tried coming to this website to figure it out and don't see the round container pictured, the product looks and smells identical though. I think they're the same thing and the Sally's girls are misinformed :woman-shrugging: My hair feels incredibly soft and smooth and healthy."

Really thoroughly enjoyed using it, I've never tried a guacamole moisture hair mask before but I definitely think it's going to be on my list of hair treatments from now on. Took my dry frizzy winter hair to a naturally smooth shiny hydrated look. Really easy to apply doesn't taste take long for the moisture to set in, seemed to do the trick and really left my scalp feeling clean also."

Our products are not actually made from food, but are definitely inspired by food. We use the food recipes that our products are inspired by to pick the best ingredients and fragrance stories for each product. Please don’t eat our products, they’re meant for your hair!
While our products do contain a lot of great and natural ingredients, they are not all natural. Just like the foods in your pantry, haircare products need non-natural ingredients to keep them fresh. We strive to make the highest performing products that are also safe for your hair and scalp. Would you keep your food in your hot, humid shower for months at a time without some kind of preservatives? Probably not! Haircare products are the same way, and we want to keep them fresh!
Our products are sulfate-free and paraben-free. A few of our products do contain wheat-derived ingredients, silicones, or salt. If you have a gluten sensitivity or allergy please check closely on the product pages for ingredients you may be allergic to. Otherwise, you can also use our product search feature to eliminate options that contain any ingredients you don’t wish to have in your haircare products. A few of our products contain coconut oil, so if you are allergic to coconut, please do check the product pages for ingredient listings, or use the search feature to see which products contain coconut oil. Other products contain macadamia oil, but please note that macadamia is a seed, not a nut.
